These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the services and website of Shams Psychology Center ("Shams", "we", "us", or "our"), including our Nozha and Downtown branches in Cairo, Egypt. By booking an appointment, using our website, or receiving services from us, you agree to these Terms.

1. Our Services

Shams Psychology Center provides psychiatric and psychological services, including individual therapy sessions and structured group therapy programs, delivered in-branch or online, by licensed specialists.

2. Appointments & Booking

Appointments may be booked through our website, patient portal, or directly with our reception team. Please arrive on time for your session; sessions starting late due to patient arrival time may be shortened to protect the schedule of other patients.

3. Cancellations & No-Shows

We ask that you cancel or reschedule an appointment as early as possible if you are unable to attend. Missed appointments and late cancellations may be subject to a no-show fee, as communicated to you at the time of booking or in your confirmation message.

4. Fees, Payment & Insurance

Session fees are as published on our website or communicated at the time of booking. If your treatment is covered under an agreement with a partnering insurance company, billing will be processed according to the terms of that agreement; any portion not covered by insurance remains the client's responsibility.

5. Confidentiality

Information shared during your sessions is treated as confidential in accordance with recognized professional and ethical standards for psychiatric and psychological care. Confidentiality may be limited in specific circumstances required by law or professional ethical obligation, such as an imminent risk of harm to yourself or others.

6. Medical Emergencies

Our services are not designed for the management of medical or psychiatric emergencies. If you or someone you know is experiencing a crisis or emergency, please contact your nearest hospital emergency department or local emergency services immediately.

7. Client Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information about yourself and your health history, and to notify us of any change in your insurance coverage or contact details.

8. Limitation of Liability

While our team is committed to providing services with due care and professional diligence, treatment outcomes cannot be guaranteed. To the extent permitted by law, Shams Psychology Center's liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific service in question.

9. Website Use

All content on this website, including text, images, and branding, is the property of Shams Psychology Center and may not be copied or reused without our written permission.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your appointment or use of our website applies.

11. Governing Law
